The helicopter pilot, U Aung Myat Toe from the HTOO Company, participated dedicatedly, in the search and rescue mission for the two missing mountaineers. U Aung Myant Toe on board the B4 helicopter had been faced with incident while it is flying for rescue operation, on September 27.
Along with U Aung Myat Toe, Thai pilot Mr. Chatchawal and U Shwe Yin Taw Gyi who is a personal assistance of U Tay Za, were involved in this incident. Although U Shwe Yin Taw Gyi was narrowly escape from deadly incident, the Thai pilot and Myanmar pilot had been suffered serious injuries.
U Shwe Yin Taw Gyi was found by the members of HTOO Foundation’s rescue teams and U Tay Za, patron of the foundation, who are making search and rescue operation at Lan Sar Htu village, on October 7.
As soon as getting information from U Shwe Yin Taw Gyi, the rescue team of HTOO Foundation and local villager went into the woods without delay to search for the two pilots. The Thai pilot was found and rescued on the morning of October 8.
U Shwe Yin Taw Gyi guided rescue teams of the HTOO Foundation to the cave, where Myanmar pilot U Aung Myat Toe supposed to be waiting.
The rescue team of HTOO Foundation and local villagers approached the cave, where Myanmar pilot U Aung Myat Toe supposed to be waiting, on October 9, 4:00 pm. But the rescue team’s members did not find U Aung Myat Toe in the cave and only his backpack and accessories were found. So the rescue team continued the search in the vicinity of the cave and then, his shoe and stockings were found near a creek, at 4:25 pm.
To find U Aung Myat Toe, the rescue team made the creep search carefully and they found Captain U Aung Myat Toe, lying in a valley, which is one thousand ft depth and located about one hundred ft far from the creek. The rescue team tried to rescue him immediately.
But the rescue team found that U Aung Myat Toe had already passed away, when they arrived close to him, seeing his remains tragically.
The HTOO Foundation would like to pay tribute with the great admiration to U Aung Myat Toe, who sacrificed as a philanthropist and passed away during the rescue mission for two missing mountaineers.
Following plans will be make for U Aung Myat Toe who is honorable person of the HTOO Company.
1. As a meritorious deed for the sake of Myanmar pilot U Aung Myat Toe, U Tay Za, patron of the HTOO Foundation will donate four schools and one clinic in four villages.
2. The salary of Captain U Aung Myat Toe, which is paid now, will be given to his wife for the rest of her lifetime.
3. The son of Captain Aung Myat Toe will be provided everything he needs for his education.
4. The medical care for Captain Aung Myat Toe’s wife and son will be granted.
5. The HTOO Foundation is to help Captain Aung Myat Toe’s wife and son whatever and whenever they need.
Remark – To report the news of helicopter incident, we need facts and figure in detail. The two persons who could tell these facts and figures are the Thai pilot, who is at hospital for the time being and U Shwe Yin Taw Gyi, who is in the deep woods together with the rescue team.
