Htoo Foundation Received 2014 National Best Social Welfare Team Award

Htoo Foundation received 2014 National Best Social Welfare Team Award awarded by the president today, on May 3 am, in the 2014 President National Capacity Award presenting ceremony which held at Ngu Shwe Wah hall, president house, Nay Pyi Taw.

U Tay Za, chairman of Htoo Foundation, U Paw Myint Oo, CEO of the foundation and concerning patrons attended this ceremony and Htoo Foundation’s chairman U Tay Za accepted the award which was presented by the president.
Htoo Foundation which was established after 2008 Nargis cyclone, has noble objectives that is to maintain cultural and natural environment, to strengthen standard of health and education, to provide emergency rescue tasks.
According to their activity sectors, associations which are nominated by regional poll, is selected.
In selecting above associations, there are consideration factors; to care child, mother, disable person and the aged as social welfare, collaboration in natural disaster prevention scheme, no religion divided in doing social activities, free of charge providing at funeral service, donating educational infrastructure for developing human resource in remote area of country, supporting children of poverty and monasteries education school, opening schools of vocational and informal education, donating to setup clinic and hospitals as health care sector, free of charge ambulance vehicles for transportation of emergency patients, vocational school for poor families to get job opportunities and to reduce poverty, generating job prospects for the people from villages to be more prosperous, collaborate with other associations for regional development, sustaining natural environment and infrastructure for the developing sectors of nation, electricity and pure water access.
Among nominated social associations, Htoo Foundation was awarded National Best Social Team Award.
Htoo Foundation made afford arduously to fulfill its objectives since the foundation was established. Htoo Foundation had provided for promoting of the socio-economic of tribes and developing of remote villages.
Htoo Foundation was awarded as the National Best Social Welfare Team because of outstanding tasks. The foundation collaborated with others social associations, regional authorities in doing social tasks and supported the nation to be prosperous in term of human resource and to reduce poverty, to create job opportunities for developing of remote region, being vanguard of emergency rescue tasks.
