The three Myanmar mountaineers, who scaled successfully the world highest mountain, Mount Everest, arrived at the Yangon International Air Port, at 8.50am, today, May 25th by the flight, TG.303.
At the Yangon International Air Port, the families members of climbers, HTOO Foundation, HTOO Group of Companies(HGC), Air Bagan, AGD Bank, Aureum Palace Hotel၊ Myanmar Treasure Hotel, AGD Bank၊ Myanmar Cargo Services (CMS), Htoo Housing & Property Development and Yangon Air Port Group, the Yangon United Football Club and staffs’ families of HGC and responsible persons, members from Technical Climbing Club of Myanmar, some responsible persons from the Myanmar Hiking and Mountaineering Federation, many privates and high rank officers from the military and responsible persons from the Yangon Universities Hiking and Mountaineering Association and the youths from the Yangon Sports and Physical Academy, all together warmly welcomed the three youth climbers, who had so fearlessly accomplished the mission to dignify the Nation.
The trio, Ko Pyae Phyo Aung, Ko Win Ko Ko and Ko Nyi Nyi Aung who had
successfully scaled the world highest mountain, Mt. Everest, for the
first time as the representative climbers of Myanmar, were fetched by
the audience. And then, they were proudly brought to the Kandawgyi
Palace Hotel, from the Yangon Air Port, via the Pyay Road, 8mile traffic
point, Kabar Aye pagoda road and U Taung Bo traffic circle.
The Myanmar youth climber, Ko Pyae Phyo Aung said as following related with successfully scaled the summit of Mount Everest, world highest mountain. “I visualized the 50 millions Myanmar, who are supporting our mission and trust our abilities so much. This mindset brought our bodies on the summit of the mountain. We are on cloud nine, stepping on top of the Everest.” And the commendable climber of Myanmar added that he wish all Myanmar mountaineering associations to be united and to train new generation of climbers in the country, sharing his experience and mountaineering technical skill.
The three Myanmar mountaineers, who had successfully scaled the amazing Mt. Everest, will hold the press conference, intended to share their experience of the expedition, on May 27, 2016, at the Mingalar Hall, Kandawgyi Palace Hotel. The detail about the press conference will be released soon.
The HTOO Foundation would like to express that our profound thanks also belong to the Myanmar citizens, who had prayed for the climbers to be safe and successful.
This expedition, which is supported by the HTOO Foundation, is new record of Myanmar mountaineering world. On the other hand, the foundation is promoting health care, education and regional development sectors as much as possible, where our people are actually in need. Also in future, our foundation will conduct the philanthropic activities as much as we could.
