A rescue team, which included three Italians and one Nepalese, arrived at Putao township on September 28, discussed with the HTOO Foundation’s patron, U Tay Za and pilots who are running rescue operation, is also cooperating in rescue and search mission of the Foundation.
On board the rescue helicopter B3(black)from the HTOO Foundation are one pilot namely Sid, two sherpas who are skilled mountaineering guides from the Nepal and Myanmar rescue team members, to act upon rescue activities as it planned.
Concurrently, on board the rescue helicopter B3 (blue) from the HTOO
Foundation are one pilot and two rescue team members from the Italy,
flying above area of Naung Mon village to carry out search and rescue
operation as it planned.
Ye Min Thu, Sai Kyaw Thu Htwe, Sai Kyaw Wanna Soe, U Namar Johnsin, who are staff from the HTOO Group Of Companies, and local people, all are searching wholeheartedly for two missing Myanmar mountaineers from the Invitation of Nature Foundation of the Universities Hiking and Mountaineering Association.
At 16,200 ft height of the Mt. Hkakabo Razi, where is so vast area and vertical rocky wall, the rescue team, which made arduous extensive searching, found a red bag and a blue backpack, at 17,300 ft which were omitted by the missing mountaineers.
As a vanguard, four members of the Blue Sky Rescue team from the China arrived at base camp, which was located at the height of 13,200 ft above sea level, on September 26. The HTOO Foundation gave required supports for the Blue Sky Rescue team.
Furthermore, the HTOO Foundation had discussed with the Japan mountaineering group, which would ascend the Mt. Hkakabo Razi from the same route of that the Myanmar missing mountaineers scaled, to help in search and rescue mission. The Foundation also negotiated with a mountaineering team, which would scale the Mt., to lend a hand for searching mission.
Ten members of Blue Sky Rescue team, who arrived at Yangon on September 29, and three members of the rescue team from china, who arrived this morning, had coalesced and went on to the Putao township, to help in rescue operation of the HTOO Foundation.
Air Bagan, AGD Bank, Myanmar Treasure Resorts and Aureum Palace Hotels and resorts are supporting the HTOO Foundation, which is making arduous rescue mission, to find two missing mountaineers.
