The members of HTOO Foundation’s stuff and a group of State and Regional Queens of Myanmar, who are participating at the Miss Golden Land Myanmar 2016 Beauty Pageant, went to the Popa region to plant fir trees in the forest.
The members of HTOO Foundation’s stuff and Miss Golden Land Myanmar Delegates from the respective states and regions, stuffs from the Popa Mountain Resort and responsible persons from the forestry department leave the hotel at 8am sharp and the group of people hiking again and again till they reached over 4,000 above sea level where to be planted the fir trees at 10.30 am.
And then, they planted two hundreds fir trees so happily to sustain the forest, which was destroyed by the wild fire last year. One of the Miss Golden Land Myanmar 2016’s delegates said, “This fir trees was destroyed by the wild fire. We came and planted as much as possible.”
One of the HTOO Foundation’s objectives is to preserve and sustain natural forests of Myanmar and this activity is intended for the Environmental Awareness.
